plaidtober is still going strong at amandromeda. watch me run and jump around goofily in cool merch from my shop. all set to music.

plaidtober

plaid+october=plaidtober. this month we are mad for plaid. nothing says 'fall' more than (sweating in) a flannel and jeans. sure it was 80 degrees but i made the sacrifice all in the name of kicking off a new vintage campaign for the shop. and i like plaid, so there.

as per usual, all my clothes are vintage and/or from the thrift. i initially bought this shirt for my kiddo but found i could quasi wear it so maybe we'll share it? or i'll probably just keep it. yeah, that's more likely. and i found these excellent bootcut/flare hybrid levi's over the weekend thinking they were more of a straight leg jean. they were too comfortable for me to be annoyed by the noncommittal cut so snatched them up and brought them home. i mean, if it feels this good it can't possibly be wrong, right? and i don't even really know what to do with this little mexican leather purse. seriously, i can't even fit my lipgloss in it. but sometimes you find a few odd pieces, put them all together and have a great time wearing them on a gorgeously warm plaidtober day.

september denim dayzzz

we are all about denim this month at amandromeda. because, let's face it, there's nothing more transitional than jeans and her softer chambray counterpart. whether it's layered or meant to shine on it's own, denim rules. 

everything seen is in store and ready to go. blue jean baby.

amandromeda summer lookbook 2013

FINALLY! i've been working on this summer lookbook for the shop for a few weeks now AND NOW I'M DONE! i'm so excited about how it turned out. a HUGE thank you to my friends for modeling and my sweet husband for photographing this little project. and just so you all know, we did have an awesome cookout after this photo shoot :)

amandromeda

after four years of sharing a retail space with an art gallery, i am now all on my own. my friend who owned the gallery made the tough decision to close her doors this past saturday. and while it is bittersweet, i know it is the right thing for her. also, it gives me a chance to revamp amandromeda! so the last few days have been a flurry of moving and shifting and re-imagining. it's like opening day all over again. i'm kinda digging it.
